At the Diner-Technique Class with Chef Len
Instructor: Chef Len Towne
In this class, youth 12-18 years old will learn how to be a personal chef in this technique intensive hands-on class with Chef Len. Walk through the makings of a dinner party with each class focusing on one course using the culinary “tricks of the trade.” The last class will include a tasting party for the students and one guest. Class size is limited to a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 20.

Middle School Study Skills
Instructor: Ben Ashby, ZPS Elementary Spanish Teacher
Is your child prepared to transition from elementary to middle school? Making the jump from 5th grade to 6th grade can sometimes be a challenging and nerve-racking experience. Join Ben Ashby, an experienced elementary and middle school teacher for a three-day course that will help teach your student valuable organization and study skills that will ease your student’s transition and ensure their success in middle school. Participants must be entering the 6th grade for the 2010-11 school year. Class size is limited to a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 40.
