Zeeland Youth Summer Football Camp
Coordinators: Derek Pennington, ZE Football Coach and John Shillito, ZW Football Coach
The Zeeland Youth Football Camp is designed to teach our young football players the fundamentals of the game.   The camp will be directed by both of the head coaches at Zeeland East and West High Schools. Players will have the opportunity to be coached by other staff members and players from both schools. Campers will be instructed in proper football technique, rules of the game, and have an opportunity to participate in organized scrimmages. Please, no football helmets.

1st and 2nd Grade Flag Football
Come and learn the game of football in a non-contact football clinic/league. This program is designed to prepare players for Rocket Football. It teaches them the beginning skills used in Rocket Football. There will be four weeks of practice/games. Teams will be organized and directed by parent volunteers. Each team will require 1-2 coaches. Team shirts are included in registration. Football flags will be provided. Required: Tennis shoes or football cleats and shorts. Space is limited to 80.

Zeeland East Chix Middle School
Summer Football Camp
Coordinator: Derek Pennington, ZE Football Coach
The Zeeland East Chix Middle School Football Summer camp is specifically designed for football players that will be attending and playing football at Cityside Middle School in the fall of 2010. The camp will be directed by Zeeland East Head football Coach Derek Pennington and his staff including 7th & 8th grade coaches. The camp will stress the same skill and fundamentals that are taught in the Zeeland East High School program. The basic concepts needed to play in the spread offense and Chix defense will be introduced at this camp. Campers will be instructed in proper football technique, rules of the game, and have an opportunity to participate in organized scrimmages. All future or current Cityside football players are strongly encouraged to attend this camp.   Please, no football helmets. Min: 20 Max: 60

Creekside Middle School Football Camp

The Creekside Middle School Football Summer camp is specifically designed for football players that will be attending and playing football at Creekside Middle School in the fall of 2010. Creekside 7th and 8th graders will have the opportunity to work on skills to be used in the Creekside and Zeeland West football programs. They will be coached by Varsity level coaches as well as other coaches in the program. Please, no football helmets. Min: 20 Max: 60

Fall Rocket Football
Rocket Football is a competitive, contact sport. Teams compete against other area schools. Level is determined by grade. Practices will begin in mid-August at the coaches’ discretion. Games begin in September and run through October.

Registration: Must be made on a football form. You may download a form below or pick one up in your child’s school office.
Deadline: Thursday, July 2
After the deadline, a waitlist will be started. A $5 late fee will be charged if placement becomes available.

Required Equipment: Helmet (must be NOCSAE approved and stamped), mouth guard, shoulder pads, pants w/ pads, cup, and football cleats. All equipment must fit properly.
