Program Fees
Pre-registration for an entire session is available for all classes. Drop-ins are welcome in all classes based on space/bike availability for a $4.00 fee.
Class Descriptions
Body Balance ~ Strengthen and define muscles, improve your posture, and create a lean streamlined shape using equipment to focus on the body’s core. (Call Zeeland Community Hospital at 616-748-2834 for registration info.)
Classical Yoga ~ One of the world’s most practiced forms of yoga, emphasizing correct alignment of all parts of the body in each yoga posture. The precision of approach builds strength and stamina, balance and flexibility and a sense of well-being.
30/30-Combination Spin and Yoga ~ This class will start off with 30 minutes of spin followed by 30 minutes of yoga. This combo class will increase your lower body strength and improve cardiovascular endurance. It will also increase your range of motion, improve your flexibility, facilitate relaxation and release tension.
Easy Does It ~ An exercise class designed for heart health, strength, balance and flexibility. Instruction is provided on a wide variety of movements and can be modified to fit your activity level. All exercises are performed standing or seated. This class is ideal for seniors and those wanting a low-impact exercise class. (Call Zeeland Community Hospital at 616-748-2834 for registration info.)
Spin ~ Burns serious calories and offers an awesome aerobic workout. If you can ride a bike, you can finish this class!
Step ’N Strength ~ Choreographed step moves that will get your heart rate into its fat burning zone and keep it there. Class also incorporates strength moves that are sure to have you feeling like you’ve achieved your best workout ever.
Strengthen and Lengthen ~ A great class that will help build muscle and at the same time increase flexibility as you work on lengthening muscles after they’ve been worked.
Tighten ’N Tone ~ Build muscle and burn fat while improving your muscle strength and endurance.
Ultimate Workout ~ Incorporates cardiovascular, strength, and core training in an ever changing format that will challenge you from head to toe. All fitness levels welcome.
Ultra Defined ~ Using weights, tubes, and resist-a-balls this class will help you establish definition, build muscle, and tone existing muscle, helping you burn fat even when you’re sleeping.
Yoga ~ Yoga is a good form of relaxation. It can ease the tension building in your muscles and joints without causing fatigue and overexertion. The basic yoga moves involved in the poses and exercises will provide inner peace and radiant health.
Zumba ~ Zumba is a fitness workout using Latin inspired music and dance movement. This aerobic workout will tone and sculpt your entire body. This fun workout is designed for everyone. (No dance experience needed.)
